Bike Glendhu Reviews

Here's what our riders say

"WOW! Just WOW! From the moment we walked in to buy our tickets until the moment we drove out the gates. This was just a fantastic day. The staff were more than helpful, the trails were so well maintained and the views at key lookout areas were amazing. The bean bags down at the cafe were a nice touch – a great place to flop and recover while contemplating another lap."

Jacqueline H.

"Can’t recommend Bike Glendhu enough – we’re now desperately trying to find a time to fit in a second session while we’re in Wanaka. Plenty of trails for all skill levels. We rented e-bikes which were in good condition and really helped to fill our time with fun downhill rather than hard uphill. Such a nice atmosphere down at the Base too, certainly helped by excellent staff all round."

Adam B.

"The cafe is really nice. Came here after walking the Motatapu Track nearby and it was just what I needed. Very friendly staff, amazing pies, very clean toilets, great music and a nice view. Had to come a second time!"

Maggi S.

"I could not imagine a better place to spend my time. As a beginner to mountain biking it was a supportive environment to learn and progress throughout the season. Trails were always super fun and help at Base was abundant. Post ride delights at Velo always a shout as well."

Liberty C.

"An awesome bike park – the views are spectacular, and the many routes, berms and jumps are well maintained. The cafe (no exaggeration) has the best beef nachos I’ve ever had."

Joel T.

"Our child loved BG Bike School and really listened to the coach! (Which she doesn’t always do with us!)"

Hannah A.

"As we were finishing up school holidays yesterday we asked our kids what were the highs and lows of the holidays, both shouted out straight away that their #1 high was BG Bike School. These girls have had an epic summer of Skyline Rotorua, Queenstown biking, Cardrona, Rotorua forest, and the Taupo Bike Park… kayaking, hiking – you name it! And still Bike Glendhu was their number one. The coaching is awesome, the group of kids they were with – they loved all of it! So thank you! Apparently we will be back."

Libby W.

"So well-organised. I loved learning to jump in a really safe and supportive environment. Our coach was the right balance of fun, safe and knowledgeable."

Georgia S.

"Positive environment with extremely skilled, to-the-point coaching. Great kai, great korero and great company."

Beth W.

"It was great that our coach really took the time to watch everybody and give individual feedback."

Jo W.
