Base 334 & Velo Cafe

Base 334 is our epic hub area. Here you can pick up your passes and rental bikes for the day, shop bike gear in our Retail Store or top up your reserves at Velo Cafe & Beer Garden. We have indoor and outdoor seating for all weather, plus a nearby pump track and sandpit for the little ones. Of course, we also have your standard human necessities like parking, lavatories and bike racks. Check out our upcoming events page to stay in the loop.

If you haven’t already bought your trail pass online, no worries! Roll into Ticketing in our retail store and grab it on the spot. You can also book shuttles, bike rentals, coaching and guiding here, but we recommend booking all these in advance online or by calling 021 245 3334.

Velo, meaning “bike” in latin. Velo Café & Beer Garden serves delicious eats all day long, inclduing pastries from Scroggin’, Sanga’s Pies, house-made pizza, nachos, sandwiches and more! Grab a cuppa of Common Ground coffee, or locally brewed craft beers and beverages.
